Comprehensive Psychiatric Assessment:
This appointment includes detailed history-taking, collateral information gathering, assessment of medication history, bio-psycho-social assessment, patient/parent psychoeducation, recommendations, and treatment planning.
Therapy +/- Medication Management:
This appointment type can include individualized/couples therapy sessions that include evidence based therapies such cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and family therapies (alone) or in combination with medication discussion around pharmacologic recommendations and prescribing.
Average frequency: weekly or biweekly.
Medication appointment:
This appointment type primarily covers a medication discussion around pharmacologic recommendations and prescribing. It is only available to patients who are currently receiving individual therapy and who provide written consent for two-way communication with the therapist.
Average frequency: once a month.
